(Last Updated: 12-15-2020)
I understand these are difficult times for everyone, and even though the coronavirus Shelter in Place and Stay At Home restrictions have been financially devastating to my business, I support them completely and have been properly abiding by the order ever since they were first put into effect. This meant in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, I stayed home and did not do any photoshoots until allowed to do so. This changed starting on May 4th, 2020 where revisions were made to the Shelter in Place order, allowing for outdoor solo photoshoots to resume after May 4th. Starting June 19th, in-studio solo photoshoots were also allowed. This was great news at the time for anyone looking to book a photoshoot with me.
(12/7/20 Update): However, sadly, December 7, 2020, due to a spike in COVID-19 cases throughout the Bay Area and the entire state of California, new restrictions have been re-implemented once again for non-essential businesses. The State of California, Alameda County, and the City of Berkeley have issued a mandatory Stay At Home order. Although this is disheartening, I completely understand why this is necessary. Thus, as per the Stay At Home Order, and for the safety and well-being of everyone involved, including myself, unfortunately, I am unable to perform photoshoots at this time.
This order affects all non-essential service-oriented businesses (hair salons, nail shops, and yes, even photographers) and thus, this applies not only to my business but every photographer in the entire state of California.
This situation can change daily, so if you have a question about a potential photoshoot, please feel free to contact me for more information.
Sadly, no. As of December 7, 2020, due to a spike in COVID-19 cases, and as per the new COVID-19 Stay At Home guidelines for the State of California, Alameda County, and City of Berkeley, all non-essential businesses are prohibited from conducting business until this order is lifted. Once again, this is financially devastating for any small business, including mine, but I understand why this is taking place. The health and well-being of everyone is always first and foremost in my mind, so sadly, I will not be taking on any new photoshoots until this Stay At Home order is lifted.
However, if you’re interested in a photoshoot, you can still contact me for pricing and shoot information so that we can setup a shoot for when this Stay At Home order is lifted.

Have a wonderful and safe holiday season, and see you in 2021! 🙂
Unfortunately, not at this time. I cannot offer optional services like hair and makeup by a makeup artist at my studio. Clients wishing to have professional hair or makeup added to the photoshoots will currently need to have this service booked elsewhere and arrive at my studio with their hair and makeup camera-ready.
Well, right off the bat, unfortunately, I won’t be able to shake your hand, but please know that I will be very happy to see you when I greet you during our shoot. I may look a little funny being that I gave myself a haircut, and I will be wearing a mask to adhere to proper social distancing at all times. I will continue to wash my hands frequently, and ensure my studio is clean and sanitized in preparation of our shoot, whether this is an indoor or outdoor shoot. Safety is a serious concern, so I will do everything in my power to ensure all shoots are safe for everyone involved.
Clients entering the main building and common areas of my studio building will be required to wear a mask. You will obviously not be required to wear a mask while we are shooting, but please be sure to bring a mask as it’s required to enter the main entrance of the building. Please also ensure this mask isn’t so tight that it would cause any deep impressions on your skin that would show up during shooting.
That part is easy. Simply go to my Contact page and submit a request for more information. Here you can select the type of shoot you’re interested in, and also attach some sample images from my web site as reference images for inspiration during our shoot.
This is a global pandemic where events are changing rapidly, so I will do my best to keep this page updated with the latest information related to coronavirus restrictions, and government business policies which will no doubt be updated over time. As always, if you have any questions at all, please just let me know. I’ll be happy to answer any questions, and I sincerely look forward to hearing from you. Please stay safe, everyone. 🙂
Sincerely,
